You need to sho that woman who is boss!!!! Walk up to her and go, "yo *****!, u best check yo-self b-4 u rek yo-self!" and then beat her down!

Uh, what did you want to hear? It's your mom's freakin house, and you best be glad she doesn't throw out everything in there to make it easier for her to find that sh.t you don't want her to find. If you were my kid I'd take the dam door off the hinges, give you a matress on the floor and a couple of cardboard boxes to keep your stuff in. You sound like a freakin ingrate, and one of these days you'll be very happy that your mom is that way.

First, there shouldn't be anything in your room you shoud be trying to hide from her. Anything that you can't tell or show your mother is something you should never do. But, kids will be kids, and so, ask her what she is looking for, and if she guesses what is in your room that you don't want her to find admit to it and she will help you or disapline you the way you need it. If she doesn't assure her that you are responsable and reasonable. Tell her to ask you directly and promise to answer truthfully. AND BE TRUTHFUL. She might just know how to help you. she is the only person in the world who will love you for everything you are and everything you're not. I'm 22 and a mother. So you could say I am a baby with a baby. I still know what it's like to be a kid, and i am trying to raise one. Trust me, you're mother will only do things to help you. I wish i listened to my own advice i am giving you right now, maybe then i would be further ahead in life then i am right now. And as a mother i know that my son could do the worst thing a person has ever done in the whole world and i would still love him whole-heartedly. Don't make any mistakes by hiding and being secretive to you mother. You might just wish that she found what you are hiding, cuz it could get you into a lot more trouble if someone other than your mom finds it.

Put a set of dice behind your closed door one on top of the other. Create a password using the numbers on the dice so that when the door is opened by anyone it will knock the dice over. And what are the chances of anyone putting the dice in the exact same position. Now you will know if anyone has been in your room: Even brothers, sisters, and cousins. When you find out who it was, you can tell then that you'll know that go into your room

Let her. It's easier this way. I mean, if she snoops around like a detective, then tell her it makes you feel uncomfortable. Tell her that you would rather answer her questions...if she just ask about it, she doesn't have to snoop. If you're older you could say that. If you're like 13, you shouldn't have to worry about her looking in your room, cause you shouldn't have anything worth hiding!

To be perfectly honest, I would be glad that she's concerned, and she does have a right to do that. Just so long as she doesn't look into your diary or under your mattress, and acting like an obssessive compulsive person.

i agree with charlie 25. but you should not have anything you dont want her to find. my older sis did that, she was a cop at the time, and she said she was looking for drugs,as most of my friends were doing them/drinking/partying at the time. I was also 20,and living in her house, but the diff was I was paying rent, you aren't. So,in theory, she shouldn't have invaded my personal space that way. I moved out,and left the house one day when she was at work. It messed her up,mentally, because, she wasn't expecting it,and when I left, she was trying to gain custody of my son,and she can't have kidds. Even though she already had two,one adopted, one natural. It really messed her up,and i got blamed for it. But I taught her a lesson: for her to mind her own business. She and I don't speak even to this day,and it has been almost 20 years since I left.

Hide things better. Or don't have anything you wouldn't mind her finding. Leave a lovely note telling her how wonderful she is and how glad you are that she cares enough to check up on you. Maybe she'll be embarrassed.

Nothing you can do. It's her house. Keep personal items with you if it worries you. If you have nothing to hide, then this should NOT be a problem. When you are old enough, move out.

Remind yourself this is her house and that room belongs to her and she's kind enough to let you stay in it.
