Well let me give you the background....me, my girlfriend, her brother, her sister, and her friend were all hanging out the other day and we were planning on doing something. Well the girls wanted to go out shopping at the mall, but me and my girlfriend's brother wanted to go to a ball game so the person vote was 2-3, but me and her brother think that men's vote should count double so it made it 4-3 and since we were the ones driving we went to the ballgame. Was this wrong? Some guys at work said it was messed up.

Ummm, well, why vote if you are going to just be unfair about it anyway? The whole idea of a vote is one person one vote - majority rules. Duh. Why not just drop them off at the mall while you go to the game?

And yeah, women's votes should count just as much. Again, if your not going to be fair about it, then why even vote? You basically forced the girls into doing what you wanted to do no matter what. Not nice.

Women's vote should definately count as much as any man's. In fact there was a whole women's movement not too long ago where women were given the right to vote equally, like men have been doing for a very long time.

It isn't fair at all that you and your other guy friend's vote were counted double, even if it was in such a small thing as deciding where to go.

Women's votes should count more because we haven't had the right to vote as long. But about your story, you should have gone your separate ways and all been happy.
