Check out NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) at www.nami.org

Depending on where you live they offer a great class/support group on living with people with a mental illness. And it is free or low-cost (again, depending on where you live)

The NAMI website can link you to a local chapter where you can get info. specific to your area.

Hope that helps!

Yes depending on where you live. Most cities and large towns have free support groups and clinics. State/county hospitals offer free treatment and counseling.

Also why is it untreated? You might want to explore getting treated to help it move away faster.

Lastly, if one is in an area of limited resources the AL-ANON groups are helpful for depression and lonlieness. They deal with the same issues that often cause depression.

Online is some help, but you need live support people.
Good luck

Yes. Any Human Development Center in a county can or at least lead you to the right resources.

Check with DSS for your local mental health center. Ask them about Medicaid, also.
