the big mac buns are just made in a mold that makes the side higher and when it goes through the slicer it cuts this tall bun into three segments, so it is actually a middle, with no crust top or bottom on it,

Actually it is a middle bun, not a bottom bun. Its a specific bun made for being in the middle. It absorbs more than the top and bottom bun. And this is because of the texture on both sides of the middle bun (the top and bottom are made to be only to be absorbent on one side only.

Yes, McDonald's is very accommodating to their customers. However I would suggest that you order a Double Cheeseburger and request added lettuce and BigMac sauce. Since they use the same burger patty on both of these sandwiches you will end up with the same burger, the difference being that you'll save a dollar or two (the amount depends on how much they'll charge for the extras). Many people refer to this as a "Skinny Mac".

It's called a "double cut bun".
Evidently, the bun is cooked to be taller & is then sliced to make the 3 parts from a single bun.

A two sided bun. Basically just a flat part of bread so everything wont slide off it.

its 2 all beef patty's,special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickle's,onion and a sesame seed bun.......well that's the jingle....no mention of the middle bun...lol sorry
