There is a cute guy at my college's bookstore and I would like to get to know him but yet I can't think of a reason to go into the bookstore. It would just seem weird if I just randomly walking into the bookstore just to talk to him while he is working. I have never had a boyfriend and never been asked out on a date so this is sort of hard for me. So if anyone has any ideas of how I can start up a conversation and getting to know him better please share them with me.

if you're into books...then u can ask him to help you find something about XXXXX...whatever you're interested in (and myabe know a little about) so u can strike up a conversation if he's into the same kinda think. tell him that u need to do a paper for your english or your anthro class (or whaterver)...and it's an open topic (or tell him what the topic is that u need to write on), so if he could suggest anything u'd appreciate his help. when he does, u can ask him to show u where in the bookstore it's located. kinda flirt with him, and smile, ask him questions if appropriate. open ended questions, NOT yes or no. u'll know if he's into you....since it's the beginning of the school year u can ask about the classes he's taking....and u can go there a few times to get books for your classes.

ITS A BOOK STORE!
Just go in and browse through the books for sale.
Then you can ask him if he can recommend to you a good book about.......... whatever you are interested in - or whatever subjects you may need reference books for etc etc etc.
If he is there to sell books, he has to talk to you & be polite about it.
If you think there is some interest from him and that you both might "click" you can then ask if he would be interested in joining you for a cup of coffee later... if the campus has a cafe or there is one nearby.

First come up with a book that your looking for. (Try Les Miserables.) Then just casually ask him about working in the book store. Next on a regular basis come in and pretend to read for a while then talk to him. Finally after a while ask him out.

Guys like when a girl hits on them, just be straight up. Maybe flirt a bit, complement him, ask him to a local function, like a dance or something. You're just scared, once you get over that, you'll be fine.

Here is the key, You dont you let this dude talk to you hell he sees you the same way you see him. dont ever come on to strong play hard to get because he wants you and he has noticed you so dont think he hasnt. Talking to him or letting him know you are even interested with boost his ego and make him think he's all that. Chill you a BOss let him come to you.

Maybe you read books. It seems like English is both yours and his primary language. Go in ask him about what books he likes. Maybe buy one that he likes. Go back to discuss it with him.

buy something cheap or something that will catch his eyes or buy alot of things, that way, it will make him deal with ur things longer and then u will have a chance talk to him at least, one tip, do not be nervous or ashamed to do it. its ok. go for it!
