a friend of mine sold his car in a local paper last year , 3 men came to buy it, all were imigrants couldnt speak much english, they tryed to pay my friend with a social security cheque for £700 , when he phoned the social security office to see if this was ok , they told him this was done on several times to help them out , so they could travel about and seek work ! , this is never right is it ?

My experience of Social Security offices is that they never discuss people's private matters with a third party over the phone. If they told your friend what you say they did, they are breaking the confidentiality rules and should be reported

Nah, think you've been mislead there, cheques are only made payable to the person who receives benefit & if over £349.99 can only be be put into a bank account & when was last time you heard of a bank cashing a cheque in someone else's name!

No....Is it any wonder that our taxes are so high!
We had a Russian colleague over in the UK for 6 months, and he observed that it must be terrible to be a white, native male. There are rights for women, Black people, Asians, etc. But the white man has to just get on with it. White men have less rights than any other group in the UK. Crazy!!!

My insides are like the mutants in a 1950's sci-fi movie, you know, post nuclear war, etc. I will leave out the gruesome details. It's painful and time consuming. I've just been denied SSI for the upteenth time because, they claim, I can lift 20 lbs and stand on my feet 6 hours...not! And based on records from doctors I've never seen. Yes, I think this level of "incompetence" is reserved for white American citizens. Call me crazy if you want (and send me a check LOL). But I've worked in, raised a child in, volunteered in, and am from this country...and they are getting MY SSI! It makes me sooo angry. But what can we do? Any suggestions?

Never heard of that. I doubt the government gives money away just to give and as a nicety.

In the USA SS Checks can come back to you for any reason for seven years.

I am not racially prejudice but it seems to me that, they get a lot more help than us. No it doesnt seem right, and i am really pi...ed off by all the things i hear.

Yep and some places are giving them free driving lessons. In Coventry due the number of accidents in cars by immigrants they give free lessons. You ask me would they do it for you? NO

When you say "Friend", you actually mean "Friend of a friend of a friend of somebody at the BNP who made this up". There is no such benefit.
