That I had for my old computer and when I install it I get a error message D:\PFiles\MSOffice\Office\EXCEL.EXE and when I put it in drive E I get a differant error message E:\PFiles\MSOffice\Office\GRAPH9.EXE.

i'm not sure, but it might be a problem with the CD, try ignoring these messeges and see if the installation completes. If it does, the main features should work

Clean the disk. It sounds like the drives are having a problem reading it. Get a lint free cloth and go inside out, not around the disk. If there are obvious scratches, there are repair kits or most video stores will do it cheap or even free if you are a regular.

If it isn't a legit copy try www.openoffice.org. It is free and does everything MS Office does.

Is it a lrgitimate copy of Office 2000? Try what previous answerer suggests and ignore error messages and see if it instals

I think you should format or buy a new notebook!
