"nbr" is short for "naber" which means "What's up?" in Turkish. This abbreviation is used in chat language only.

As for "nii lan", I don't know. Lan is an impolite way of saying "boy" but there's not such a word like "nii", and I don't know what they meant there.

I am not sure about nii lan, but nbr is from chat rooms and means Ne haber... meaning, what is the news? what's new? what's happening... :)

"nbr" is shortcut for "naber" in chat language and it means "what's up". "nii lan" may be a misspelling of "niye lan". "niye" means "why" and "lan" is an very informal way of addressing.
