There are actualy 4 General-Order's. They are: 1. I will guard everything within the limits of my post and quit my post only when properly relieved.

2. I will obey my special orders and perform all of my duties in a military manner.

3. I will report violations of my special orders, emergencies, and anything not covered in my instructions to the commander of the relief. and last but not least, #4: I WILL GAURD MY POST FROM FLANK-TO-FLANK, AND WONT TAKE S**T FROM ANY RANK., lmao. Kidding about the 4th one of course, But the first 3 are very accurate. We used to joke around about the "4th-General-Order" when I was in. Of course that was when the "Rock" was a secret weapon, and the "Club" was on the confidential-list, lol. 1st. Sgt., 7th Special Forces, (Ret.) Vietnam, "67"-"70"

There are 3 general orders and they are what RUNINTLKT said and there are special orders. Special orders are specific orders given for your post - example - no alcohol consumption in Iraq
