No. And where the law specifically makes exceptions for actions such as this, it's not breaking the law, so it's not a constitutional issue.
And the government can break any law it wants, except for those specific protections guaranteed by the constitution. All it requires is Due Process if the government is going to break the law.

If you were to park your car and walk away then yes I would say you would get a ticket, but if you needed to stop because you got a flat or your car broke down then that would be fine. If you feel that the police vehicle was blocking a road way or interfering with traffic then call and file a complaint.

Depends on the state. In NC a police officer is allowed to disregard all traffic laws in the performance of his duty as long as it doesn't place the public at an unreasonable risk (i.e. running a red light at 120mph).

"Drug Checkpoints" are not from now on allowed with the help of the courts. the U. S. best courtroom made this ruling on the city of Indianapolis v. Edmond. DWI checkpoints, and license checkpoints, and counsel checkpoints are allowed with the help of the courtroom. i have not heard of a drug checkpoint in years. in case you come back upon a checkpoint it would want to be smart to cease. in case you do not you may want to be pursued and arrested with the help of the police. The above stated practice of putting up a demonstration and prepared for persons to fling their dope out of the window is an outstanding bogeyman tale in spite of the reality that. I do ask your self in spite of the reality that. If there is not any checkpoint, very few signal out on the part of the line, then there may no longer be a contravention of the case regulation. you may want to besides the undeniable fact that, have a littering violation it is reason to make a motorcar cease. i'd (as a private citizen) placed one up on my highway and word if every person is dumb sufficient to throw dope out their vehicle window......I did hear smoking pot makes you paranoid.

Its only legal if they are off the road, these cops should know better. When they get rearended at 65 and end up in a wheelchair then maybe they will get the point. And the government does say you cannot break laws in order to enforce them, but we have all heard the word "intrapment", cops use this all the time. The FBI lets informants commit horrible crimes in order to get the person/s they want arrested, its sick in most cases. The only place I think it is OK is in the drug trade, Meth, Coke, Heroin, fuc* these losers, but leave my pot alone!

nope, it is very much legal. because think about it? how else would they catch young hoodlums who have been out drinking and driving and potentially putting other civilians' lives in danger? someone has to do it. thats what a patrol officer, or more commonly a police officer does. they drive around, answer calls, answer calls, and do all sorts of reports.

Are they slowing down traffic? If they are out there is probably a good reason. A reduction in accidents and to help stranded.
