This guy I am in love with is in Basic Training in Fort Knox, Kentucky(I believe). I been trying to find the address, so I can send him a letter. His dad suppose to been calling me back about a couple of days--but he hasnt. I am really desperate to find the address. I have already written him a 6pg. letter. I really want him to know how supportive I am of him. I dont know specific if he's in Fort Knox, but that is what I heard. I know he told me Kentucky" So if any one can come up with all the address located in Kentucky for basic training, I would appreciate it. Many responders....

I have always been under the impression that "Basic-Training" was for ground-troop's, (U.S.A.F. and U.S.Army) and "Boot-Camp" was for the Marines and Navy? Am I mistaken? Either-way, Ft. Knox is basically a U.S.Army post, with some Navy and Marines training there. Great Lakes, Illinois is the "Boot-Camp" for the Navy as far as I know. It was for my brother anyways. (K.I.A., Vietnam, "68"). Hope you find your guy sweetie. Good Luck. 1st. Sgt., 7th Special Forces, (Ret.) Vietnam, "67"-"70"

Fort Knox Kentucky is Army basic training, not Navy. The Navy trains in Illinois.

Uh, there is no NAVY basic training in Fort Knox. All navy bootcamp takes place at Great Lakes, Illinois. Are you talking about basic training or technical school (after basic training). If he's in basic, give the guy some time. Hes usually allowed only one phone call the first week of basic, which is processing week, the most hectic week. Dont expect him to contact you until at least the 2nd week. Hope this helps.

Fort Knox is Army. If he's in the Navy, he's not at Fort Knox.

There are literally dozens of training companies at Fort Knox, each with its own address. If you dont know which one, its going to be hard to get a letter to him.

Hate to inform you, but the US Navy does not have basic training at Ft Knox, Kentucky, the US Army has basic training at Ft Knox, Kentucky.

Doll, if you want the real address for Naval boot camp, then heres fact Number 1.) RTC (Recruit Training Command) is in Great Lakes, Illinios, not Fort Knox Kentucky.

My suggestion, talk to his recruiter, or call his father.

US Marine Corps Detachment (Knox) this is who you need to contact at Ft Knox. Even though this is a Army base, the Marines train here and so does the Navy. There is more contact info here:http://www.knox.army.mil/units.htm

Navy Basic training is in Great Lakes IL. If they guy has not written you, has given you bad info, and/or did not give you his address before he left, you may be wasting your time, or he may be not telling the truth.
