Well, first off I would make sure that she knew that you weren't going to interfere in your brothers life. You have no control over who your brother is seeing and she should not ask you to try to do anything about it. Second, if she is a true "best friend" then she will be your friend no matter who your brother is with. And if she decides that she no longer wants to be your "best friend" then she never was to begin with. Third, nothing written in stone. Your brother isn't married to this other girl so who's to say that he may someday find that your friend is someone that he might be interested in but if he's pushed by you or her he may never want her so just leave it alone and let time take care of it and let your friend know that you would love for your brother to be with her IF that's what is supposed to be but that is it's not supposed to be it could only cause trouble and that you neither one would want. DO NOT try to push them together. Even if your brother breaks up with the girls he's with now. You can make suggestions to him but don't push. If it's supposed to be it will be.

I would leave it alone and not get involved. Your best friend should leave him alone and wait until he is available again and shouldn't in any way push you to try to push them together. That is just wrong and straining on your friendship. Your brother can love who he wants and if he ever had an intrest in your best friend, then he would be with her right now instead of in love with someone else. I would seriously stay out of it........... It won't be healthy for you, your brother, or your friendship. And what if they did get together and things didn't work out and they broke up? You would be in the middle all over again and having uncomfortable sittings with your best friend and your brother. Its just not worth. I hope your friend is your best friend because she really cares and enjoys hanging out with you........ if so, she won't push you to try to help her get with him. If she is only your friend to get to your brother (and alot of girls do this so please don't take offence) then you don't need her and you are better off without her anyway. Blessed be and good luck!!

This is something that your best friend has to work out.
Hopefully you would have told her that your brother is in love with someone else.
If she is upset, be there for here as a friend and encourage her to meet and be with other males.

this is soooooooo normal and happens everyday...... the cool older brother syndrome.... rofl..... sorry, but it is just part of having friends and older brothers..... no big deal..... unless the friend goes to far...... tell your friend that you know how she feels, it is ok, but to please just lay low..... tell her he has a girl right now, seems happy, but who knows what the future MAY hold..... then it is her problem to have to deal with..... God bless
