I am a muslim too and of course I respect Jesus a lot, its a pitty that most insults comes from christians...I know it is a contradiction but they hardly follow Jesus example, they curse and say a lot of cheap things when they dont have any good arguments to defend their points of view.

They should respect him by imitating him.

I like your attitude.

But it isn't surprising that people insult Jesus, or belief in Him. They insulted Him when He was alive, to the point of crucifying Him. People feel threatened by His moral standards. Then again, too many of us who call ourselves Christians go out of our way to condemn those who don't believe. We have earned at least some of the criticism through our own failure to live up to what we profess.
From what I read, Mohammed didn't have an easy time of it either. Nor did any of the prophets. "A prophet is without honor in his own country."

Why would someone insult jesus...?

Personally, I insult him because

-He is responsible for spreading a religion that caused many rebellions and brought down the Roman Empire, something that could very well have united the whole world in a war-free Eutopia.

-Thousands and thousands of people were killed in the crusades trying to convert people to the religion he created during the middle ages.

-Hitler killed 6 millions jews and 6 million other people including POW, Gypsies, and pretty much anyone who didn't share the same belief in christianity, which was founded by christ.

....you think he does not deserve to be insulted?

Asalaamu alaykum, they are trying to cause as much offence as possible. The prophets are the easiest target for this. The Prophets faced more abuse by the people of their time. Its sad that some things never change

You are 100% right. God is not what we worship. God and sprituality is the positive contribution you make to your immediate neighbours and your society. It is better to help some one in need that spending hours meditating or praying for hours.

Love All. Lookafter mankind.

Bye Bye.

When someone has no belief of their own, they attack others beliefs. I'd call it akin to a child lashing out or acting up because he wants attention. Regardless of your beliefs, shalom/peace.
