If a God was powerful enough to create a universe, or even a world. Omnipotent enough to read( think hard about this ) EVERY thought, and hear every word, and see every action.. of every person in the world all at the same time! Would that being really choose to speak in riddles to random individuals? Would that being not just tell everyone at once? Why not just BE HERE ?? What does God have to hide for? What would God have to lose, it`s not like we aren`t used to the idea of God by now is it......

This is genuine curiosity, dont take offence

Not just for christians.. try this on whatever faith you like.

you are right. the best thing to do is be quiet and listen.
god is screaming at you, i promise.
just be quiet and hear what is there.
anyone can do this.
start with listening to birds & trees.
then go from there to all of reality

It is a test of faith, this is not our eternal life. we have been given the life of this world to test our faith in god and afterlife. our reward will be the life of the hereafter which will be of unthinkable, everlasting enjoyment minus the misery of this life. In this life we have a combination of both luxuries and happiness but also tragedies and sadness. The next life will be our ultimate life in which we will abide forever. If we would see, hear or feel God, the world would not be the same. God is not comparable to anything on this planet. Each individual has been given their own brains and their own freewill to believe or not to beleive. Our life in this world is not guranteed, the only thing that is guranteed is death..surely there is something after death. I am a convert to Islam and many a time I was confused about our existence. Islam is very rational and answers all my questions. It is good you are asking people these questions, as you are obviously unsure of gods existence otherwise you would not be asking in the first place. Carry on trying to gain knowledge, hopefully you will get somewhere and be content in what you believe rather than feel confused.

When the student is ready the teacher appears.

There is a veil over the earth as part of the "Plan". God allows people freedom...He doesn't "Force" anyone to do anything ...He won't force anyone to learn about Him, if they don't want to...

Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

Who can handle the truth? Many cannot....not yet...
But you are definitely right in that God can communicate with us...that is certain....and there will come a time when He will be here...it is coming soon..."The Second Coming" and everyone will know.

Hebrews 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Well I have heard and it is a trait that is in most of the big religions including Hindusim that Humans are not able to hear the voice of God we couldnt handle it our heads will explode.
The best description is in the Bagdavad Gita when arjuna asks Krishna to Reveal his true form to Arjuna and Krishna has to give Arjuna a spiritual Eye so that He could handle it. On top of that Arjuna was ready for the experiance he was ready to receive knowledge.
There is a saying that Religion is the buffer that stops people form having a direct experiance with God> If we had one we would crack up. I think you can see that alot of people in the relgion section here have Cracked up there is your proof.
If God is beyond time and beyond opposites the alpha and the omega. How could we possibly comprehend or even begin to imagine nonlinear time or talk to a being that has no contrast.
Next time your in your yard try and communicate with an anthill. They do talk to each other its so primative that it is impossible for us to do it.

Like paintings in an art gallery, you see pictures with the style and initial of the painter. When you get used to the style and name, oftentimes you will see those paintings somewhere but forget the title of his works. What does make your remember is his style and name. Like in Monet's, Van Gogh or D'vinci.
That is how God put his initial on every creation he makes. The only difference is He is alive within every frameworks of his creations. That is what makes him know every single thing you do and every single word you say and he remembers it for as long as you also can remember. Sometimes you may forget but He will not because it remains printed in you. Ever experienced, heard or wonder why there are some people who can read what is in your mind? or heard about it? To a mature man, God is no longer someone who sits on His throne looking down on everyone and making notes of what everyone does but someone who is a part everything He creates. A reason why no one can escape Him. He only cease to exist to anyone who do not exist.

God communicates through His creation all the time. My scientific friend looks at beautiful landscape in a 'scientific' way while I look at it as God's wonderful creation!! God niether hides himself nor does he keep quiet - often I think he screams at us but we just don't listen. Also when he created humans he gave us free will (otherwise he would have created a load of obeying robots - not what he wanted) so we often ignore him when he is 'speaking' to us - we get too wrapped up in the 'me, me, me' idea. I don't think God spoke in riddles when he gave the 10 commandments nor did Jesus speak in a riddle when he said 'love thy neighbour as thyself' - how much better a world if we listened and acted on those things.

I believe that God is HERE now and all the time. God is in all things that are beautiful and good and if you look close enough you can see beauty and goodness everywhere.
IF you were consciously aware of the presence of God all the time would it change how you behaved?
We are supposed to have free will. In order for that to be true God cannot be too obvious or we would have little choice but to be perfect.

I think it's because God didn't create the Universe. God is the universe and everything within/out it. As we are part of the universe we are also a part of God. Have you ever had a straight answer when communicating with yourself?

Religion is based on faith, not scientific evidence. If everything was revealed to us, there would be no need for faith, and God would simply be another Autocratic ruler. In addition we would blame God for everything that went wrong, because choice would be replaced by direct command. Through faith you are preparing for the next life, not the physical secular one that we currently inhabit.

I fairly have discovered it has quite a lot to do with their concentration. i have had the privilege (and it became, they paid squat) to artwork with those who were considered mathematical geniuses, yet appeared to lack the skill to fill out an straightforward artwork request. they are cloistered, secure adverse to the exterior international, so sure, they were constrained of their interpersonal skills. that's like utilising a horse to do the dishes kind component. Horses are smart, they in basic terms do not do dishes, nor to they prefer to, and no human being else needs them to. Their intelligence isn't constrained except they in basic terms do not have any interest in mundane issues. that's not that they are incapable, that's because, for them, that's not mandatory. because maximum really smart human beings seldom lack for technique of help and do not ought to scramble for a residing, they have the time to seek for deeper which means, and are inspired to attain this. yet on the different hand, they lack "street smarts". Then there is emotional intelligence. diverse bins for us all. the television educate NUMB3RS is loosely (and that i advise "loosely") depending on the maths geniuses at Caltech in Pasadena, California, and tries to regulate that stereotype.

Excellent.

Something as important as God should come
with irrevocable, undeniable, verifiable proof
that fully and unabashedly supports such a thing
as the actual existence of such a thing as God. The fact that it does not makes me suspect that all of this religious stuff is man made and fake.

Have a pleasant day.
