You are not paranoid, it is just the way life has become.
Unless of course you are smoking pot or even worse, sorry for being harsh, but that will make you paranoid. My ex husband was paranoid through smoking and drug taking.
I dont think there is medication available for that condition.
But we can all be paranoid sometimes, its just the way it is

Yes, there are various different mediactions for paranoia. There are various different types of paranoia, which is why the medication is not available unless perscribed by a doctor. There are also other treatments for paranoia such as Hypnotherapy and psychiatric treatment. Paranoia is usually caused by an underlying problem or some kind of bad expereince that has been forgotten in the past.
In my oppinion, the best treatment for paranoia is the method of confrontation. This involves the patient being gradually introduced to their fear untill they are be able to take it full on without having a convulsion. This being the sudden fear of the unknown.
An Example we could say was if a person was experiencing a fear of people they don't know. The patient would be taken into places where there were people around but not packed together and not too many people. An example of this could be a library, or maybe a cafe. They would then be introduced closer to their fear by trying something like public transport with more people in a confined environment.
In all cases seeing a doctor who could refer you onto a psychiatrist to help you diagnose the problem is a must before trying any of these treatments.

If your insurance plan allows, make an appointment directly with a psychiatrist.
He or she can assess in an initial consult if this is part of a larger disease process, and can medicate accordingly.
In years past, many of the medications for this (doc to doc speak would be "mind glue") had some unwanted side effects, but there are ever improving options available nowadays.
It is difficult to convince someone who is in the throes of a pranoid episode that people are just not organized enough to carry something like that off, and there are not people out there conspiring against them, but depends on how rational they are, sometimes talk therapy, once the meds kick in, can be very helpful.
Best wishes.

There will be, via your GP. But.... why do you, or someone you are perhaps worried about, have paranoia? Who diagnosed it? Perhaps it is just something from childhood, etc., which is creating this problem.
My advice is to speak to someone medical - there are help-lines outside your GP surgery. If, by chance, someone is smoking canabis, paranoia and other nasties are a side effect.
The reason for the paranoia will be the source of the cure.

Depends on the symptoms i.e. is it anxiety or paranoia and are there any other problems? You should go to your GP and get a referral for a mental health assessment.

Don't think so, but I wouldn't trust them. They would be up to something to get at me.
