it takes me away from the ordinary, hum drum , day by day junk I have to deal with.... it puts me in a place that dreams are made of..... and that is all it is, a dream..... we all have them..... even in those romance novels guys can still act like jerks, but they sure do know how to ROMANCE a girl will being one...... *wink*..... and romance is NOT sex...... guys could learn from reading one or two of those books......... 1ST: not ALL girls like romance novels!
2nd: we like the drama and men-swooping-us-off-our-feet-and-be-our-hero feeling!

because we like to imagine real love and romantic gestures that appear in the book can actually happen and while we read them we can pretend there are decent men
