Working out first will bring the blood closer to your skin, making it easier to absorb sun light (or tanning bed light) and you will get darker more quickly.

I always tan AFTER the workout, because I'm already hot and sweaty, so I go home right after and take a shower to get all the tanning lotion off of me. I prefer this because tanning lotion has a heavy and greasy feel after the session and is gross feeling when running on treadmill, it's as if you have a layer of slime on you when your body temperature is already skyrocketing.
I don't think it matters, try it both ways and decide. Oh, and if you still have the lotion on and you sweat a lot, I imagine the lotion staining your clothing as well when added with the sweat.

You should definately work-out first! If you tan first, you will be hot and feel humid from the bed and won't be able to do a proper workout. And yes, it does matter.

I would say work out first and then tan because if you tan first your
muscles might get tight and then you might no want to work out.

i doubt it matters, but i would probably tan first. by the end of your workout you'll probably be hot and sweaty by then. getting into a tanning bed after that doesnt sound like a good idea. unless you shower first then id say it really doesnt matter.

It doesn't really matters but if you want to highlight the product of your workout is better if you workout first and then tan while at the same time you rest.
