Of which branch are Rumsfeld, Rice, Cheney, and Perlman veterans?

Thank you those who questioned my own military service; it makes my point for me. It's as if you believe: " How dare those who have not served have an opinion on the matter of war / military service / mortal commitment." OK, I agree. Even more so, when someone tells me Americans must die in a foreign land in order to save America from an evil imminent and overwhelming threat, I expect them to convince their own family of it first. If they don't, they lose credibility with me. Just for the record, I spent 11 years in the Army; am veteran of first Iraq War.

You don't join the military for the money so why would someone with a wealthy upbringing have any notion of joining the military.

I think we should look to Israel and the way they run their military. Every citizen should have to donate 2 years of their life and defend their country! If that were to happen do you think the president would think twice about sending people to war.

Use the little button that says "add comments" and then tell us what branch you serve or served with. The Bush twins are girls and should not be required to join, and it is totally irrelevant if they served or not. Many of our past political leaders that sent boys off to war did not serve. They are politicians not warriors, they are tasked with the welfare of the country as a whole not the one. If they deem fit to send us to war that is okay because the men in uniform singed up for it. If you don't like it make sure you vote, and if you don't like the way the military is run, join, become a general and change it. If you don,t like the United States get OUT!!!

Hey there Studbolt (that's an parody on yourself, right?) Slickrock....

You failed to mention which branch of the US military you served in? Oh, wait....sorry, when you tried to join you forgot about "don't ask, don't tell" and asked them to join the gay boy brigade.

And unlike your idol Clinton, no; not Hillary but Bill, both President GHW Bush served (WWII Naval pilot...who was shot down in combat) and President GW Bush served (Texas Air National Guard).

President Clinton went to Oxford....gee, that means he avoided, oops....missed the draft and smoked doped...but didn't inhale.....right, got it, believe that, no doubt about it.

Or Chelsea, or even clinton himself? Having the Presidents children in the military would be like having the the company presidents child in your department. Not exactly what you want to have to try and manage. Let's be a little more adult here shall we?

Of which branch are you? Don't bother answering. You are a lib; your question removes all doubt.

Sillary claims she tried to join the Marines, but the Marines have no record of it...

Funny. Of the traitorous cowardly neocon hacks you listed only Rummy served in the military, if you want to call the peacetime navy the military.
