I agree with the above answers but I would add that the phrase in question is usually from the lips of some sassy broad who is after said a**. She's trying to be coy but is basically saying "I would like to one day have a piece of that."

Normally sweet a** refers to something good. So when a guy says, "Later, sweet a**" It's kinda like saying "Later babe, hot stuff, sweet thang, etc."

It's an endearment, like "darling" and "sweetheart," except that it's probably not used much among older generations. It's a compliment, usually said affectionately.
