Age gap is a stat of mind. Someone who is 18 going out with a 26 year ol is looked down on, yet someone who is 26 going out with a 34 year old is fine. As long as you are both over 18, so parents can't cause trouble, and you like each other then whats the problem with it.
Tho an 18 year old and 80 year old still has to be classed as a lucky git. Or they're only after the money.

I was married to someone that young when I was 24 (we had been married 3 years though).
However, if you decide to ever get married, you MUST see a marriage counselor first. Do not buy a freaking ring first. Talk to a professional. I'm serious. The reason is, when you are young, and you are without enough money it sucks bad. Plus, ladies often wish they can do things during her age that she will not be able to do while being with you. The hard part, is they don't know that until AFTER they get married. So, you really need to be cautious, and seek marriage counseling ahead of time (if and when you would ever think of marriage).

I don't think that's a huge gap at all when you get to be those ages. It would be different if it was like a 16 year old and a 21 year old.

Not at all. There is 10 years between me and my partner, and my previous partner was the same. The age gap shouldn't bother you.
Girls are usually far more mature that guys at that age, so the age gap actually sounds just right!!

nope that is only 5 years difference. There might be a little bit of a difference in maturity, but if you can get by that then it doesn't really matter. If you are together in a few years you will be 26 and she will be 21. Age is just a number.

Not at all. When I was 19 I had a 30 year old man. Sorry to say this but most women mature faster than men, which means most women want an older man.

thats no age gap at all, after all it isnt the age its whether you love them, i am 29 and my boyfriend is 38, now that is an age gap but it doesnt make a difference i am going out with him not his birth certificate!! go for it!!!

that's like a 5 or 6 year age gap between you and her, but otherwise no its not a problem at all.

Age does not matter, i speak from experience as i am 25 and my husband is 40. As long as you are both happy, that is the main thing. All the best for the future and have fun !!
