Why doesn't he keep up with the times like the rest of us?

If you read above it seems that people don't want to admit that the god of the bible has emotions like fear - just anger, jelousy, hatred... He shows all the emotions that people do when they need to justify their own lashing out against people.
The god of the bible is a reflection of his followers. He rejects and judges with the same elitism that people do... if you don't follow him he allows you to go to hell even though a truely compassionate god would never do that or even allow there to be a hell.

God doesn't fear anything. He is God. He doesn't have to fear anything so why would he. I don't think I understand "keep up with the times" so I really can't answer but I can say that God is the times and if someone is trying to follow the world instead of God they will have problems. ~Dawn

Who says he doesn't keep up with everybody? I know as long as I have been living, year after year, God has never left my side because every time, no matter what age I am, when I prayed for something it was received. Actually, God can predict the future. If you read Revelation, you will see the prophecies in it that is happening today and God predicted that if you live by the sword, you will die by the sword. So that shows me that he is actually ahead of us.

Because it's a book thousands of years old? where the hell have you been?
Also, since God doesn't have a sense of time, there's no such thing as "keeping up" like how we have our conscience selves, we can always progress with our mind, with things like psychokinesis, meditation, astral projection, but most people choose not to-instead they choose something like a fashion show-yet that dissappears over time...the only thing that will stay with you for the rest of your life is if you progress your mind. I don't really think he cares if we have trends and act like idiots..

The only thing to fear is the unknown. Theres nothing to fear if you know whats going to happen. espeacially if you live forever in a place called heaven. Ive never been there but i heard i was cool.

fear as we know it means nothing to the supreme being "God" we just think know feel do as what was given to us by him I think when everything here is over with all questions will be answered it is a very good question in its own way
