I think that dogs respond better to a name with 2 syllables, so I would go with Sasha.

I like sasha....I used to have a dog named that when I was a kid. How ever for trainning a short solid name works best like Sage....Simple names work better but it is your puppy so i is really up to you

My first response was Sasha, but I really like Sage. I think Sage is much more unique so I would go with Sage.

Yes m, on the human names - Sasha is the one I like - it says energy and a certain verve and personality. It's easier to pronounce and probably easier for the dog to understand. Sage might be harder for her to distinguish from other names. Congrats on the puppy.

Sage, much more original and very pretty. I know so many dogs named Sasha.
