Why is it that recently the birth of "CONJOINED BABIES" is on a rise?
Is it that the human genes is creating a defect in it? or is it a mutation in our genes?
And as to what and why?

well, do we know for a fact that it is on the rise?
Perhaps we are simply noticing them more as the media attention focuses on them.
If it is in fact increasing, I suppose the condition of the mother's health might have as much to do with it as genetic factors.

It is an interesting question. The incidence of conjoined twins does seem to be on the rise. I would be interested to see some research on the topic. As with so many other health issue, environmental factors may come into play. Or perhaps fertility treatments?

I don't believe it is on the rise. I believe it just gets more publicity these days. I thank my maker that my twin sister and I weren't conjoined cause we probably would have killed each other by now. LOL!
