I think kids learn about sex around 4-5... but I'm assuming you're talking about thinking of HAVING sex. I think most girls do that about the same age as most boys... 12 or 13 to start REALLY thinking about having a bf and sex and all that stuff...

My daughter is 12 and I have discussed sex with her in an effort to let her know it is supposed to be something shared between husband and wife. I will not allow her to date until she is 16 and it will be chaperoned at that point and until she is 18. I am NOT letting her out on her own to be talked into anything or to put her at risk of date rape.

It is my most sincere wish that she be a virgin when she marries. I would like to know there is at least ONE virgin for ONE lucky man. I will never know this though as women are the sneakiest creatures on the planet earth.

Even small cihldren are aware of sex, but I don't think that I considered having sex til I was 13 or 14... didn't do it til I was 16, almost 17.
