Try applying gel to wet hair... then wrap your hair in those pink sponge rollers... let it dry COMPLETELY... like overnight.. that will last!
then you can do whatever you want with it...
you might try a soft curl perm...on extra big rods.. you can get a perm that doesn't look like a poodle is sitting on your head!
A perm will do 2 things... 1. it will give you instant curl..and body. 2 sometimes when hair is too healthy it Will not style... a gentle perm...done well... can give you enough "damage" to make your hair hold a curl from the curling iron.
When you get a perm it doesn't always mean that your hair will be fried and frizzy... just find a stylist who understands what you want.. and who knows what she is doing... talk to her...
anyway hope I helped.....

Is your hair permed or naturally straight? Have you tried using some type of holding spray or mousse before you curl your hair, that usually can hold a curl, depending on the condition of your hair too.

Mines the same way. Nothing really works except for a perm and that is extreme. You could try using vavoom hair spray. Spray it on and then curl your hair. It will hold alot longer, but maybe not all day.

You should do a rollerset. While your hair is wet use a holding spray or a mousse in extra hold. blow dry your hair with the rollers in and if you like leave them in until the next day. You should have curls for the entire day.

I do believe that Loreal, Garnier and a few more brands have come out with their own line of shampoos, conditioner, serums, etc. that curl hair, and help you manage it as well. I'm pretty sure there are a few more brands but I know for Loreal and Garniersure have some products like that. Good luck.

try using a ceramic curling iron. and before you curl a part of your hair, put a little hair spray so it will hold.

You could try putting foam rollers in your while it's damp at night. Put a little mouse in it too. Be sure to use a lot of rollers, like use a small amount of hair in each one and wrap it tightly.
