This hispanic guy I dated 3 yrs and I recently got back together after splitting for 1 1/2 years. Now he wants to get engaged next yr. He's not in school, lives at home, no car, doesn't work, drinks, smokes, and in/out of jail. But I love him lol i kno...i kno. I'm in my third yr in college, have a great paying job, and my own apt and car and am only 20. My dad hates him and my friends think he's a loser. His family loves me though. He doesn't have much to offer now, but is determined to step up his game if he really wants to marry me...WTF should I do..would if after the marriage he goes back to his old ways! HELP!!!!! P.S. THE SEX IS GGRREEEAATTT!!!! :-(

If you love him and you wanna pick up the tab on everything for the rest of your life, go for it. BEFORE you marry him you may want to teach him how to WORK FOR A LIVING!!!! If not you may regret it later when you're working overtime coming home to clean up the house, cook dinner, help with homework, and get the kids ready for bed. Hoping all the way home that your future husband hasn't been locked up and your future kids in protective custody.

Goes back?His ways are set in stone,to leach off women all his life.As far as the sex goes,there is a lot of good sex out there,and some really nice guys.Do yourself a BIG favor and dump this loser before he drags you down to his level and ruins your life.

first you need to stress you love him but you need him to get job,, stay out of jail ,and grow up so you and him will have a good time. that will show you as well as everyone he loves you and is willing to be the man you need him to be.

before making that big step, you should see if he attempts to step his game up, let him get his sh*t together and then your friends and family shouldnt have a problem with it, but if you love him then all of that shouldnt matter anyway

When you marry someone you marry them for who they are, you don't want them to change and be what you want them to be...you just want them to be them self. You need to ask yourself if you will be happy with all of his downfalls once you are married if not then don't marry him.
