Ok..I recently got an old tv that I want to hook up to my cable box and DVD player.

I brought a RF Modulator cause the tv does not support the yellow, red, and white cables from my dvd player.

The Modulator is set to channel 3 and is supposed to auto switch from one system to another. I'm pretty I connected it correctly but when I turn on the DVD player....all I get is a black screen. No static, just black.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I tested the same RF Modulator on another TV and it works fine.

thanks

Make sure that the TV itself is tuned to channel 3. Or TV might be defective. Make sure that the RCA cables (Yellow,R&W) are well connected into their respective colors behind the DVD player.

Check the dvd player or the television.
