there are so many cultures that make no mention of that particular being?

Well nearly almost all cultures have a general belief in a God or some sort of higher being(s).

If you're talking about Jesus, he was pretty much confined to the one region of the middle east. You really wouldn't hear anyone else talk about him unless they're missionaries getting the word out.

Doesn't really make sense though, Jesus should have traveled as far as he could showing people what he was capable of if he really was the son of God. You'd think he'd want to show as many regions as he could.

Where would you divide the function of one God from another - I would have to wonder. There is no consensus. Why not just say that, in effect at least, there is only one God.

Or, if there is more than one, who would you ask? There's a million traditions, and each of their books is "inspired by God(s)."Each has a different answer, however.

I don't picture God torturing me just because I don't guess a riddle the "right way." I just trust whoever is on the other end of the phone, and that's good enough

God is not what we vote to make him. God is and then reveals Himself to us. MONO:One THEISTIC:God
He transcends culture and history, He reveals Himself in Nature, He speaks to chosen individuals to minister to others and then record it for posterity.
