I don't like it. I like older men, preferably at least late 20s, but anywhere into his 40s. All of these 16-19 year old boys, not men, but boys keep hitting on me and I have told them that I already have a boyfriend, that is a man, not a little boy. I'm only 18, and I am in their age group, but I think that young boys such as these, are extremely childish, and they don't really deserve my attention. I like the experience of a guy in his 30s, not teens. Does anyone know why these little boys are doing this all of a sudden??

Yeah, I need help because other people are hitting on me. They should get the not so subtle hints that I have been dropping and get away from me. It isn't just the age, it is the experience and maturity that I'm attracted to, and I am in no way a trophy girlfriend.

You ooze confidence, which is something pubescent teenagers find really attractive - as they don't have it, nevermind the fake moustaches and leather jackets. Added to that you might look good, you are different and you possess a certain kind of 'cool' (adults know this as 'charm') and you are all the hype. When I was 15 I really looked up to the 18 year olds, though now at 28 I find 18 year olds are just kids. I think this view is all my own fault though - I might be beyond them, but nothing really warrants pedantic behaviour if you think about it. Try to let them be what they are - confused, oversexed crazy little monkeys - and you might find their attention less tiresome. Just don't go to the zoo too often ;o)
Btw this is not a flirt.. You're kinda cute but I'd never date any girl in her twenties, let alone teenage wenches ;o)
Oh and do believe the girl who replied after me, she really does know!

I'm 25 and I do NOT date anyone under 30. They are more mature and more established in life (have job, don't depend on mommy, etc). There is nothing wrong with that. I have a problem also with people my age hitting on me. I have a boyfriend. He is 38. I do not want a little boy. I always just tell them the truth - that they are too young for me. You must just be too hot for them to resist! Just take it as a compliment and ignore them!

You probably changed your look in someway if it is all of suddenly happening...Also you are judging a book by its cover...I know 19 year olds that are more mature and put together than guys older than me and I am 26!!!
Just becuase a guy is older does not make him mature...but I am sure you know that already :)
I also hope you are not just a "trophy" girl for this older guy... I know lots of older men like to flaunt the fact they have a teenage girlfriend...College Co-Eds!!!! hahaha

You ought to have been with me half an hour ago! I got 'hit on' by a man in his fifties, blind in one eye, standing at 5'4".
Then, I got wolf whistled at by a bunch of sixteen year old numpties hanging around outside the 24 hour Asda store.
I'm 32, 6ft tall and besotted with a lovely chap, who happens to be in his late twenties, who wouldn't dream of being so obnoxious.
It really isn't about age, it's about the maturity of their character and wanting to be with you because of who you are, not who they think you might be. There are some seriously messed up and immature older men out there too (believe me, I know!)...

Maybe they think you're 'easy'. Are you? That why you like older men? Maybe they think you're getting experience from older men. I don't think the boys deserve your attention either. I think they deserve better. You have problems dear.
