My nipples have gotten much larger from breastfeeding my 11 month old daughter- almost as though they've been stretched out by it. My poor boobs look like they've been sucked into a vacuum! I'm not complaining or anything because I know breastfeeding is the best thing for my daughter, but I'm wondering if this happens to everyone and if it affects intimacy later on? I know right now breastfeeding affects intimacy, but what about after the baby is weaned- did you find that the larger, stretched out nipples and stretch marks on your breasts weren't turning your partner on anymore? I'm kind of sad about their appearance because my husband used to love my small perky breasts, and now after nursing they are stretched out and saggy. Can anyone relate to me or give me any advice they found helpful?

I have nursed my 3 children all for the first year of their life. Not an easy task by any means so congratulations on making it this far. Unfortunately, along with th joys and bonding nursing a baby brings there are also other physical side effects. I was a 36 C when I got pregnant I was a 38 DD while nursing my children for the first 6 months. Now that I have weaned my baby (its been a year now),I have lost my pre-pregnancy weight and am back down to a 36 C.However... its not the same. I am afraid that that is just a price nursing mothers have to pay. Your husband should love them all the more, they are providing nourishment for your child and he didn't have to buy formula... lol Hope this has been helpful.

Your husband will probably love your breasts, no matter how much they have changed from nursing. I nursed my daughter for 11 1/2 months and they did go back to their original size. I didn't notice a lot of sagging, but they weren't perky in the first place. I am 32 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I just noticed that my nipples have become very dark, they didn't do that with my first baby.

If your breasts aren't as cute or perky as they used to be, don't let it bother you too much. Chances are they will go back at least partway to their original state and your husband's going to have to be happy with that. Some women have implants put in after breastfeeding but I think that's crazy.

I had the same problem as you - my breast (which were big to start with) became full and heavy with milk, and started to look droopy.
When I stopped breast-feeding, I think they didn't go back to their natural perky size, but my husband always loves to fondle them and suck them even now - he says he still gets turned on by them. It is a part of our foreplay - ALWAYS without fail. And I get all roused up too, when he does things to my boobs - somehow they haven't lost their sensitivity.

So don't worry - it will be OK!

I have two kids, nursed both for 16 months. My nipples also got longer. I met a breastfeeding consultant who had had six kids and told me that her nipples got bigger after each one! As for sagging boobs - I think it happens sooner or later, whether or not you have kids.

I had the exact same issue and if he loves you then it shouldn't affect it. I called my breast the sun. the rays where the stretch marks LOL. with time they do fade some

It might look weird, but no it should not affect your intimate life, in fact it makes them more sensitive. I'd use a breast pump to make them less stretched out though.
