You're a very thoughtful person to be wanting to get this couple a present even though you're not going to the wedding. I don't know of too many people who would do what you are doing. I would suggest getting something off their wedding registry, if you know where they're registered. It doesn't have to be something too expensive. Otherwise, just mail them a card and a gift card. It'll let them know you wish them well.

That is very nice of you to get them a gift even though you cannot attend. I would suggest picking something from the gift registry or mailing them a gift certificate

I'd get them a gift card for a nice restaurant so they can go out to dinner. Or a certificate for his-and-hers massages--always nice so they can relax after the wedding!

A thoughtful card. If you're not attending the wedding, and you're not especially close to them, I don't see how you're required to give a gift.

A card wishing them the best. No gift is required for couples who cohabitate before marriage. They have already established a house and need no further help.

Gift Card. Can't go wrong either way whether they're registered somewhere specific or not.

Nothing. If you are no longer close and are not going to the wedding, you needn't give them anything.
