All offices vary you are best phoning the one you are using when i got married i was told no more than 30 yet my sister in law married same place and didn't care what the registrar said and must've brought about 50 to 60.

It depends on the registry office.Usually those in cities have room for about 60, however in smaller councils there might be less room. Call up the registry office and ask (you will need to do this very soon any way as most registrars ask for 6 weeks notice of your wedding). Google your nearest council and see if their registrar has a website, you should be able to get relevant info from there. Good Luck!!

Im a solicitor, albeit not an expert in this field, but i suppose it depends on the size of the room as the registry office has to comply with fire regulations. Depending on where it is the registry office may have differing size rooms. Speak to the registrar about the facilities.

it depends on the office. we are getting married in registry office. They have 2 rooms. One takes up to 6 people & the other takes up to 50 people. So call your local office & enquire when you make your booking. You have to book 1 month in advance to have your banns read.
Good luck

How many will fit? The registry gets these questions all the time. They know the exact number. Have you tried to ring them to see?
Good Luck with your up-coming wedding:)

You need to ask your specific registry office, they are all different.
I have been to one with only 20 allowed and another where i think there were about 80 (it was a squeeze though)

We had just 2 guests, however I would imagine you could have around 50.
