Wow, this is a very good question. No, it is not a sin to use bad words but it is not a good testimony to others either. It is a sin to deny the true Lord of Earth and the savoir of our lives Jesus Christ. If you are a believer and a follower you would choose not to curse do to the Holy Spirit inside of you. But if your not a believer or one that has NOT prayed the prayer of salvation your on your way to hell anyway so it does not matter. Try to go a day without useung a curse word, if your successful with one than attemp two. Soon with the assistance of the Holy Spirit you'll find yourself in control of our words. Check out these three Bible versus and see what you think. Psalm 34:13, James 3:8, 1 Peter 3:10. I would chat longer but Im at work and dont want to spend a long time on here. God Bless you... and if you would like to chat sometime look me up.. got to go... HiiiiiiiYaaaa!!!!!!!

The Bible says genuinely no longer something about cussing. It does say no longer to take the Lord's call in ineffective... yet it truly is more desirable than basically declaring God damn. in reality, Jesus damned a fig tree. Is that incorrect? No. you may placed on the Lord's call in ineffective with the help of having a Christian t-blouse and being impolite to someone. it truly is why God suggested no longer to TAKE His call in ineffective truly of basically SAY. As for the different words, i might want to favor to discover the adult men who determined they were cuss words and kick them contained in the balls... and that i'll shop in ideas no longer to placed on my Jesus t blouse... (only a funny tale) yet severe. An @$$ is a donkey in it truly is unique textual content. A ***** is a woman dogs (some say in warmth). i have heard that sh!t means shipment severe in Transit. i have heard that fuc... is from For unlawful or Carnal expertise, which replaced into an area of imprisonment in the event you raped or were new child molesters. A bast@rd is an illigitimate new child. i do not truly know the position puzzy and d!ck got here from. and what's with the substituitions? you're a biatch. Dang! i'm gonna kick your a double s... is that no longer an analogous ingredient? the point is, it truly is not any longer the be conscious it is inaccurate, besides the undeniable fact that the way you employ it. If someone cuts you off in site visitors, do not call him a bast@rd. He may know his father very well. do not call a woman a *****. She surely has 2 legs. God also suggested to be kind to others. Cuss words are hardly ever kind. He also suggested to be knowledgeable and correctly suggested. back, for someone to assert "F you!" and in no way know it what it truly means... properly it truly is basically ignorant.

There are a lot of passages in Proverbs about it. Here are a few:
12:18 Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
10:11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked.
10:19 When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.

But seriously, there are like 1 bajillion quotes in Proverbs about it. If bajillion is a number, that's how many there are:)

In 1 Peter 2:1, St. Peter tells us to rid ouselves of all "slander of every kind."

Also, in Matthew 5:44, some older manuscripts read Jesus as saying "do good to those who curse you."

Cursing is not really a good thing throughtout the old and new testament. Even when Jesus got angry, as he did when they were selling animals in God's Holy Temple, he showed anger, but did not use curse words to do so (see Mark 11).

And finally, of course, using the Lord's name in vain is the worst type of cursing. That's also a regular "Bible theme." ;)

I don't think it is. Society over time has deemed certain words inappropriate and it says nothing in the Bible about there being bad word that are forbidden. It's not a sin, but it can still get you into trouble in your society if you aren't careful.

In Ephesians 4:29 the Scripture tells us not to let any unwholesome communication come out of our mouths. Our speech should build up and not tear away

Im not familiar with the term 'cuss' (im english). I think its like swearing. I know its in the ten commandments that you arent supposed to use the lords name in vain. Which I think means to say like 'Oh my God' or 'Jesus Christ' when somethings gone wrong like a way of swearing.

Actually I think it is. Becuase sapose you say somthing with "Damn" in the bible Damn means bring evil upon it, therefor say you hurt your toe.

"DAMN IT"
You are pretty much telling God to damn your toe, or whatever you hurt it on.
