Can anyone please tell me what a warped dvd disc looks like or what it means?

it more or less means it got melted.. and it can happen to just about anything plastic such as cd's, floppy disks, and of course dvds.. it looks like this- http://freeside.laidback.org/humour/toast3.jpg

If you put it on a table and it does not lie flat all around, it is warped. It is worthless (maybe you had it in your car during a summer day and it overheated.)
