well. It's NOT this Peaceful Loving regime I hear about.
There is only ONE spiritual "Rest". Thats it. :)

Mankind needs peace with God first. This is done of course through knowledge, repentance, dedication and baptism, on the basis of Jesus sacrifice, in worship of the true God YHWH/Jehovah.
Then The Father gives holy spirit to those asking him, and those who also continue doing his will.
Peace is a fruitage of holy spirit, which means that this is experienced even during the greatest trials.
After that peace is experienced between mankind, upon applying the law of love, and forgiveness when applicable.
Mark 9:49,50 For everyone must be salted with fire. Salt to be sure is fine, but if ever the salt loses its strength, with what will you season it itself? Have salt in yourselves, and keep peace between one another.
Under God's Kingdom Peace will finally be earth wide:
Psalms 72 7-7-9 In his days the righteous one will sprout, And the abundance of peace until the moon is no more,
And he will have subjects from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.
Before him the inhabitants of waterless regions will bow down, And his very enemies will lick the dust itself.

For me I have to say regular reciting of the Holy Quran and listening to Arabic recitals and visiting the saints for me is a peaceful way of life.
