I am just looking for opinions and arguments from both believers and non-believers. I am a Christian and I do believe. But how many out there think the same?

Not for all people, thankfully.

Most all people have faith in SOME THING, but, if we all had faith in the RIGHT thing (or ONE) then, this would wouuld be a much beter place!

Faith in God/Jesus has been lost, unfortunately. But, God's Word says this owuld happen in the latter days and many would turn away from their faith in the end days.

Don't be discouraged- most believers arent on a forum like this, because they dont waste their time arguing and debating- just for the reason some see loss of hope and faith, and even get discouraged with people and the world when all they see is anger and non belief, denial, etc...

I am a God-following Christian who walks for Him in all I am and do. I try to help those who are confused, direct those who are lost, and focus on the good, to keep my drive for truth and Christ alive.

The world and society, has become so spoiled with wealth, knowledge, materials, resources, etc...that, they feel they dont need faith- everything we have is supplied for us now. Even when something goes wrong, scientists or the medical field have a reasoning along their lines, which has nothign to do with spirituality. There is a disease and pill for most everything, which rules out having to take responsibility for much. The world has become the place that Jesus and Daniel and the other prophets said it would.

But I revel in the fact that Jesus says one day, every tongue will confess and every knee shall bow that Jesus Christ is Lord!

Faith is an everday need and therefore it is not obsolete. We have faith that the chair were sitting will hold us up. We have faith that the roof over our head will not collapse on top of us.

True faith is to trust in that which is unseen.

Jesus said to Thomas, "blessed are those that have not seen and still have faith."

Were it obsolete, it wouldn't exist...and yet there are billions of faithful people.

Faith, moreover, isn't an opinion. It is an experience.

atheists like to say that the decline in religion is due to increase in knowledge, but in reality people are actually getting dumber. this is the dumbest people have been in the history of our planet. people sit in front of the t.v. watching junk or in front of the computer looking at porn all day. there is a great wealth of information on the internet, but instead of taking advantage of that information,90% of the searches are for porn. we dont have any great thinkers like they had back in the day. there are no newtons, einsteins, bethovens, augustines today. you cannt have an intelligent conversation. all people want to talk about is football or what "brangelina" is doing. a poll taken in britain recently shows that nearly a quarter of britons think that winston churchill is a myth and that sherlock holmes was a real person. its no wonder that there has been a decline in faith.

When minds are unquestioning and access to information non-existent faith occurs naturally in response to make sense of the unknown.

When information is in abundance and minds begin to question faith becomes a rare commodity.

When information is in abundance and yet the mind does not question faith is denial.

It still serves a purpose for some people; but every time naturalism and theism have disagreed about some aspect of the universe -- the world being round or flat, the Earth being the center of the universe, the universe being only 6,000 years old, the origin of species -- theism has lost. And not just lost, but soundly thrashed. Every single time.

If you were betting on a horse raise, and one horse had won every single race of the last thousand races, and another horse had lost every single race of a thousand races, where would you place your money?

Obsolete? Please. A far higher percentage of the US population professes some kind of spiritual faith, mostly Christianity, than ever in the past.

ITS NOT FAITH THATS OBSOLETE....THAT COULD NEVER HAPPEN....FAITH IS BELIEF IN YOUR OWN ABILITIES AND THAT SOMEONE SUPERNATURAL WILL AID YOU....DOESNT MATTER IF YOU HAVE A SO CALLED RELIGION OR NOT....BELIEF WILL MAKE IT REAL.
