Ok , I am married to a wonderful guy name Curtis, I love him so much, and it breaks my heart to see him get hurt, I don't know what to do. Well the problem is that he has seizures and we don't know what to do, we tried to get help and no one will help us because we can't afford it. He has been layed off of work and we can't seem to find anyone that can help us not even our family.
If anyone a solution to our problem please help us.

You may need to aply with the states medicaid program. If he is having sesures it is very serious and he needs meds. You have to explore every option available.

Medicaid offers emergency funds but you have to go into the local Public Social Services facility to apply for it. You will need ID, SSN, proof of income, medical records, monthly expenses and whatever else they ask for. They may be able to direct you another department that can help you right now. The seizures weaken your husband and must be controlled ASAP. If you belong to a church, they may be able to offer some help. I believe there's a National Epilepsy Foundation that might have a solution. They have a website you can go to get a phone number. (Epilepsy Foundation in MD. 800-332-1000) They have affiliates in several states. Also run a search for clinical trials for epilepsy to see if anything's coming up in the very near future in your area. These are free. File for Disability Insurance immediately if you haven't already done so. If I come with any more ideas, I can't contact you because you have no e-mail address listed. i am so sorry that the only answer seems to be'get medicaid', or 'just go to the doc.' Sometimes it is just not that simple! i know that there are different clinical studies being done and maybe it would be a good idea to contact them. The National Intistute for Health is a good one(maryland). I also know that getting disability is not easy and can take many years. Im not sure how i can help except pray for you and i know first hand that prayers carry alot of weight!!
