"birds of a feather stick together" No doubt that similarities help.
One reason for so many "office romances" is that both people are in similar work/career/industries and social levels. Shared interest to talk about, shared friends, shared work ethics, shared financial levels.....
Other one is physical similarities. I know, I know, some are like chalk and cheese, but the lasting relationships are a bit like dogs and their owners, if the dont look alike at the start, they soon will. Especially facial characteristics can be uncanny.
Eyes, Eyes, Eyes. Women will always "see the soul" of the man in his eyes. And the more skilled a man is at "gazing adoringly" into her eyes, the more attractive he is to her.

totally depends on the person, and whatever they are going through at that time, or what they went through in their past. Depends upon the type of friends that they have or hang around with. I guess there is a certain amount of chemistry between two people which cause the feelings of love, or other wise just being naive.

I dont think its chemistry because I have had chemistry with men I didn't love. I think what makes me fall in love is meeting someone that I feel at the time is like me. But at the end I usually realize they are like me but only have my bad traits and none of my good.
