i have a 1 year old daughter and i would like to sign her up for a toddler gymnastics class in the bowie/crofton/annapolis area of maryland. i'm on a pretty tight budget. any suggestions?

My son enjoyed his classes at Arts-n-Motion in Odenton. Gave him new experiences, interaction with other kids, listening to another adult. Sort of a pre-preschool. Reasonable rates.

I used to go to Win-Win Gymnastics in Odenton. It has recreational(beginner) and competitive/elite classes. If your toddler is around two or three years old, there is a beginner class that is for her age and the parents participate in it with them in the little gym! If she is about 4 or 5 there is also a class for that(beginners) and parents do not participate. Your little one will have lots of fun and grow quickly as a gymnast as I did. Start your own cooperative. There are a lot of stay at home moms in Annapolis. You can meet through craigslist, starbucks, arundel mills, children museum (in annapolis), or any park.
There is nothing serious about gymnastics for kids under 4, anyway, and all of the gymnastics places charge a fortune.

Private gymnastics courses are usually very expensive.
You should look in your parks and recreation options. We took a tumbling class (but not in MD, sorry) and it was only $30 for the while summer. (once a week)
