I wouldn't you never mix money with honey. It tends to get you into a sticky situation. Good luck!

I think its okay to be friends with a coworker just as long as you can keep it on a friend level. But in this case, you two like each other and he is already involved in a relationship so I don't think it's a good idea to hang out with him just yet. I am a person who dated (and is still dating) a coworker but I made sure he was not seeing anybody before I saw him outside of work. It's harmless of you to take a break together, have lunch, or just plain talk while at work but it should not go any further than that until he breaks his current relationship. You shouldn't hang out with him outside of work because it will just make things complicated for him. He's already in a troubled relationship so it's up to him if he should decide to end it or make it work. By you being in the picture, it will only distract him and make him lose focus on whats really important for him to do. Leave or stay. Let him work out his issues first, and then maybe you two can hang out together.

I personally think that dating someone from work is like shi**ing where you sleep. It can be frought with problems and difficulties that can screw with your earning capacity and that is often not worth it.

Having said that, only you can tell if he is worth it or not. Some people stick with like minded individuals at work but want to keep their personal life private - other times you can meet the perfect person for you right at the water cooler. Your call.

Peace!

it's a hard situation...but usually mixing work and love it not a great idea. He's kinda sending mixed signals because you know that he has a gf, but he's being a little flirty. It's up to you but remember that at work he's your co-worker
