She is growing. They are called growing pains. Big breed dogs grow rapidly. Don't worry about it.

A few things could cause this:
1) She's lonely - Puppies need attention and love; if you are sleeping in the other room and she is by herself, she might be whining because she wants someone to be with her. This will be a tough time for you, because you need to have her get used to being by herself and you'll need to keep yourself from running to help her.
2) She Dreaming - Dogs make noises when they are dreaming, it could just be as simple as that.

you are going to have extra severe issues in case you do no longer return that domestic dog. A nervous dogs, even with the rationalization, is an aggressive dogs. If he's already exhibiting aggression with your son and with you, this is in user-friendly terms going to worsen except you get him some in intensity help. Danes are frequently very good with toddlers, no remember the age of the dogs. the undeniable fact that he's exhibiting habit inconsistent with that breed's nature shows some thing is incorrect with the dogs. Take him lower back and get the female if the furnish continues to be available. Do it till now the situation gets out of hand. good success

It dreams. My Labrador - the most gentle soul on this earth - must be fighting fierce battles in his dreams the way he sometimes growls and carry on while fast asleep. There is nothing to worry about. Enjoy your Great Dane, it is one breed of dog that mostly forgets it is a dog thinking its human, and will gives you many moments of laughter for the antics it would get up to. I grew up with one.

Puppies seem to dream more than adult puppies. I wouldn't worry about it. I have woken up from a dream many times crying. If it goes on & on for awhile, take her into the vet and ask tam what's up. ;) I love animals too by the way

Dogs sometimes yelp or whine or growl in their sleep the same way that humans talk in their sleep. My dogs have all made strange/ worrisome noises while sleeping. They dream, like humans.

Dogs dream like humans. She's probably chasing something really fun in her dreams.

She could possibly be having bad dreams. I would try taking her to the Vet just to make sure she is healthy though. If she is, its bad dreams.

Give her a hug for me. Good luck!

She misses her/his mommy and siblings. 2 months = 8 weeks and a puppy should not be weaned from it's mother till 9 weeks
