Are there any spots in CA to see our heavens above with out the visual distrations .. pollution, city lights, things of that nature? I know there's some sort of observatory in L.A. but that isn't open yet. Or even better, a place with out the people too ... I'd like to lay on green grass and look up to nothing but the sky.
Any suggestions??
P.S. This is only under singles and dating because I'd like to take myself out on a date, lol. J/K Seriously there wasn't really a subject I could put this under.

One it's gotta be out of L.A and in the country, like Napa Valley, a cemetary is a great place to look at trhe stars (especially since you want a place w/no people, ha,ha,ha), thats where I like watching them or on the top or side of a mountain.

Mountains or the dessert. Out near Blythe on I 10 is a good spot.

A desert would work because of the clear air and low humidity. The farther you get away from city lights the better.

well im not from CA but if there is a oceanfront or a big public park, go there. i live in chicago and the best spots for that would be the lakefront or the Dan Ryan Woods
