I have two friends, one male (he is 20) and female (she is now 29,but was 28 during this problem and has Depression,Dysthemia,BPD). Both of them were having a problem, one day at the local game shop were we all play TCG,he could tell that she was depressed, down. He came inside the room, where she was at grabed her hand, gently carassing it with his right thumb finger. A few weeks later the two were talking things out,she was afraid that she was losing him as a friend,he hugged her,she asked him if it was okay ? He said that it was fine, she hugged him back. After there talk, she was welt up with emotion, that she gently nuzzled his left cheek. When he reacted to that, she felt (still does) gulity, bad of causing him to feel bad.

A month passed,he wasn't speaking to her or acknowleged that she was in a room. that made her feel more worse. About the end of the month, the two of them were at another game shop we're we all go to play TCG's. The two of them were afraid to speak, look at each other in the eye for some of the night. Then they talked a bit, joked a little bit, until started communicate like they did before all this happened. I was unable to give a ride to my female friend,so I asked him if he could and he agreed.

On the way back, the two of them were speaking to each other about what had happened. She wanted to clear up any misunderstandings,etc... While they were both in the parking lot (where she is at),he extended his hand to her again,as reassurance that things were going to be okay. This suprised her that he did this, she asked him if they was okay,he said it was fine and okay. In the middle of the talk, she was crying (fighting not to say that she had feelings, didn't want them),she said that might have some feelings.
He got upset, then said that he needed time, broken his trust. She just fell to peices inside, left the car crying. The two of them since then havn't been speaking to each other. He acts like she doesn't exist, nor acknowleges that she is in a room. Told his step-Mom about it,she told him not be around his friend. And said to another friend of mine that his best friend sexually harrased him.

I think he is overreacting and misunderstanding things.
