My boyfriend wants to get married. I want to marry him but I still have reservations. I love him with all my heart and I do want to marry him, it's just complecated. My mom doesn't like him, his family's a little odd, and his just bearly getting an education. What should I do?

Sit for a moment and relax and try to imagine what life would be like in 5 or 10 years from now with this guy if you are married to him. Would it be everything you thought it to be? Would you be happy? Just remember whatever you chose is for the best. Don't regret and always think positive!

He is the right one if he makes you weak in the knees when he enters a room. He is the right one if he makes you sit by the phone waiting for his call. He is the right one when you want to show him things and tell him things you wouldn't share with another. I am still looking for a man to call my own. Good luck girl on keeping the good thing you found. I'll just go to gay strip bars and taxiing strangers home for money until I find mister right.

I don't think education should be a big deal, as long as you have fun with him and you love him. I find it annoying when people base other people by there level of education. As long as they are not like a bum / drug dealer then what’s the big deal? And you should not marry someone you have 2nd thoughts about!

I am in the same situation! It really sucks! I think that you should maybe hold off for a year or so and tell him that you think that he should get an education and then tell your parents how well he is doing I hope every thing works out for you and good luck!!

You should wait. Marriage is too serious and too involving to rush. Take as much time as you think you need and follow your intuition.
Before you leap, sit down and write out a list of do's and don'ts that would be important to you and ask your fiancee to do the same. discuss these differences and let he responses be your guide.

u can do 2 things -
1st - u can marry him and live "happily ever after" but that's not always as your expectations
2nd - u can tell him what u feel just like u wrote it here and make him understand that u need some time.
if i were u, i would try the 2nd one!
good luck and take care

Tell him your not ready. If your family doesn't like him, and his familys odd and he needs more education then maybe you should rethink your decision.

if you have reservations, then you should wait. you will know he is the one if you never think about other guys and every second you spend with him is like heaven.
