Or is it only a crime when used towards american citizens?True, illegal entry into america is a crime. But,isn't it also a crime to discriminate against those same illegal people?Illegal entry=crime.Discrimination also equals hate crime.Right?Regardless of where the person came from,in the United States discrimination is a crime same as illegal entry. So,why shouldn't those that discriminate against illegal immigrants be charged?A crime is a crime, right?Or do we have biased laws here too?

Niecy,
I'm talking about dicriminating against a hispanic person .Getting decent jobs, rental housing, etc. And i'm talking about name calling and threats that are sometimes issued towards illegal immigrants. Those name callings and threats are hate crimes.

Discrimination is a crime also. But most people think there right when they are the ones breaking the laws. They can come up many excuses why it OK for them.Right is right and wrong is wrong no matter how you might want to look at it.
But it goes back to people thinking there is a big sin or a little sin.In the Lords eyes all sin is the same it is sin.

Depends on the discrimination - there are laws that make it illegal to discriminate for various things-- race, creed, etc. (they are protected classes).

They apply to things like housing, lending, jobs, etc.

It is ok to discriminate based on other things though-- e.g. job qualification, credit quality, etc.

Denying a job or something else to an illegal would not be a crime as other laws would take precidents-- e.g. need to be a legal resident or citizen, etc.

It would be illegal to discriminate against an illegal for various things but that would be a different crime than the one the illegal did. But, you actually think the illegal would report the crime?

Not renting an apartment to someone, or not hiring them because of their race, gender, etc is discrimination. As far as I know, illegal immigrants aren't having a problem finding work or finding places to live. And discrimination does not equal hate crimes necessarily. Hate crimes involve violence against someone because of their race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. What discrimination are you referring to?

American laws are written so that they apply only to American citizens. Since illegal immigrants aren't American citizens, the vast majority of rights enjoyed by Americans don't technically apply. Illegal immigrants have basic human rights, but that's about it. So no, discrimination against illegal immigrants is not really a crime.

If anyone is being discriminated against - it is the legal immigrants who have followed the rules. I support a lawsuit by them against the government to stop any amnesty proposals or any other plans which would allow illegals to live and work in our country.

It is illegal to discriminate against people for what they ARE. If you are "discriminating" against illegal immigrants it's because of what they DID. It's not because they are immigrants, I believe that legitimate immigrants should be welcomed. But they have to follow the rules like everyone else. Allowing them to not follow the rules because they are illegal immigrants would be reverse discrimination.

Where you live you might see that. In Central California where I live I've never seen white people behave the way racist blacks and Mexicans do. They throw stuff at us, yell obsenities, slam doors in our faces, try to force us into cars and some succeed, attack us, deny us services, falsely accuse us of racism for being white and the list goes on. I've never seen white people do that and don't know any that would. White people don't even stand up for themselves when they are abused. You have a very vocal minority of self aware whites on here that we don't see outside the internet. So try to keep this balanced.
