i agree with the first 3. it's a type of switch that rocks in 2 directions.

A rocker switch is one that toggles back and forth (from side-to-side)...it's almost like an upside-down see-saw. Your regular switches go up and down.

I never knew what they were either till we had some electrical work done and the electrician used one in our bathroom.

A switch that rocks from one position to the other when one end or the other is pressed. They're usually V shaped.
