If this messes with your mind...tell me! My #1 reason for not going to HELL is not because I will burn for all eternity, teeth nashing, souls crying in the lake of fire...etc...my reason is that if I go to HELL, I will forever be seperated from GOD. I would never be able to communicate with him, pray, seek his face, sing his praises, worship him....it is a forever seperation in which no more chances are given. My God, what would we do in being seperated from our Savior

ericabarbosa,

Good for you - Hell is a bottomless pit with fire 7 times hotter than what we have on Earth - yet there are many who wish to hurry up and get there!

Thanks for you words!

Earth, here has been my "hell" and I can even now communicate with God, and sing His praises here when I am already suffering and in so much pain. No matter what position you have put yourself in, you can sing His praises and worship Him, even from "hell".

My #1 reason for not going to hell.

Being hated vs. being loved for eternity.
Being mentally tormented vs. being at peace for eternity.
Spending eternity with satan vs.spending eternity with God.

Awesome! That's exactly what should motivate all Christians in their lives. I really don't like scare tactics and I think it's sad that people use those as their reasons to get saved. I completely agree with you. It wouldn't be worth it to be anywhere else but in His presence.

"it is a forever seperation in which no more chances are given"

Why would a loving god do something this horrible?! Why would a loving god play on fear rather than love?!

Me thinks you need to seriously look to a more compassionate spiritual path, my friend.

That didn't play with my mind.

And all of that would depend on Your Image of God... some people have a God that would love to see all of us in Hell and will probably do it. Except those who believe like them of course. But isn't that always the way it is? My God will get rid of you unless you believe like me. ^_^

Whatever. I don't believe in Hell, but if I'm wrong I would be more
concerned about being tortured for eternity.

You are so right. It's not just because of all the physical punishment. But because I will be spiritually disconnected with Christ. And another thing as long you are right with GOD. You won't even have an issue. so stay on ya guard, don't let it down.
