Mostly forgot persian even though I m one ...........think I should go to Iran again. I m trying to learn it again. However one of my friends in Iran sent me this. plz help me. Thank u

of course I did, I'm Greek! :) It comes from the ancient greek verb αιρέω which means having the ability to think freely and to choose. btw, Alorer is right.... another example is the word barbaric. in greek barbaros (βάρβαρος) originally meant a foreigner, a stranger. but now the word barbaric doesn't mean something foreign, does it? thanks for the video! :) very interesting edit: ohh i didnt know that, thanks dolphin! :) but the word still meant foreigner back then and not uncivilised or primitive that it means today, right? did it come to have that meaning because the Greeks assiociated the word with Persians?

I believe that is a proper name, but if you seperate it into two words. Ayn Az it means moon's heart
