Almost any bank can do it. Most will only change paper money though, no coins.

If you in the US with foreign currency to change, you can change it at your own bank or at a currency exchange in an international airport, however the rate you get in the US is terrible. Many currencies cannot be changed at all or will offer such low rates that it's just not worth it, so unless you've got Euros, Yen, British pounds, Canadian dollars, etc, you may as well use the stuff as a paperweight or toilet paper, give it to a kid, glue it to your coffee table, whatever.
The best rate is obtained by going to the country where the currency comes from. If you can't do that, but if you're leaving the US to go to a third country, you might try changing it there, for instance changing Euros in Japan will be a better deal than changing them in the US. My rule of thumb is: do NOT ever try to change foreign money in the US. It's a losing proposition.

Airports usually do have an exchange called travelex who takes a fee and gives you a bad exchange rate. AAA also exchanges money the same way. Your best bet is to go to bank or post office that offers money exchange.

Any bank can help you, if you are changing the money into American. If you are buying Foreign currency than you may have to call ahead to make sure they can have some there for you. Banks don't usually stock any foriegn currency outside of Canadian or maybe Euros... outside of that call ahead and they will get it for you.
