My 2 yr old has been complaining that her tummy hurts. I've already given her a ginger/fennel soother type medicine. What else could be wrong? What should I do?

Peppermint water. Put half of a starlight mint (you know, the red & white striped ones) in a sippy cup of water. It will melt in the water, let her drink it. It will help calm her tummy. If this doesn't help & she doesn't have diarrea or constipation (or even if she does have diarrea) take her to the doctor.

When my son was 2 he was complaining of his tummy hurting all day. Then he went to sleep to wake up 30 minutes later crying cuz it was hurting him still. So I took him to the er. We ended up spending 2 days in the hospital & found out that he had rotavirus. Go with your instincts, if you think it might be more than just a tummy ache take her to the doc, its always better safe than sorry. Hope everything is ok, good luck.

Ok for tummy trouble they make pepto for 2 year olds now go get some and it will help my son takes it when he throws up and it works wonders. If she is hot she may have a fever if it gets any worse then i would just take her to her drs and make sure its not something serious. And keep fluids down her dont want her to dehydrate.

2 year olds usually don't know about specific pain. I suggest going to the Doctor.

My child used to complain of headaches at that age and it turned out to be a brain tumor. Doctors thought it was allergys at first until we went for a second opinion and that's when we found the tumor. Pediatrician told us about the specific pain issue.

Don't wait. Go now.

properly disenchanted tummy may well be led to by making use of a lot of issues, some thing they ate, warmth, tummy computer virus, hypersensitive reaction. enable her sleep, make specific she gets a lot of water..and why provide a newborn with an disenchanted tummy ice cream? Fever over one 0 one desires meds...if it dosn't smash...

Try Petol. That will either calm her stomach down, or make her throw up which in turn may bring up what ever she ate that is disagreeing with her.

Once one or the other happens, then I would suggest having her tested for allergies. Some allergies manifest themselves in stomach aches.

If she has had a movement in a few days, it may be constipation and you can use a Fleet Enema. If she has diarrhea, you may want to call the nurse line @ a hospital or your Dr's office to see what you can give her. Hope this helps.

Do you have a hot water bottle? If so, fill it up with warm water and lay it on her tummy. If it continues, contact her doctor.

Give her fluids and just wait it out. If she vomits call the doctor to know what to do from there, don't try to feed her if she doesn't want it.
Take her temp.

Try not to let him drink acidy drinks/juices often while he has it. such as orange juice. take tums chewable tablets. Being young as he is if you think it's serious enough, see a doctor. Buh bye!
